About Amanda
Amanda is an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate trilingual clinical leader and Registered Nurse. She speaks English, Spanish, and Arabic. Amanda helps clients navigate their medical treatment and assists in coordination of benefits so that every client gets the quality medical treatment they deserve. Clients work closely with Amanda during their treatment phase, often relying heavily on her for help and guidance when coordinating medical procedures and
surgeries.
Prior to joining The Carrion Firm, Amanda was the Director of Clinical Services for a large orthopedic, pain management and chiropractic facility with multiple locations. During this time, Amanda oversaw all clinical compliance and medical staff and built a team of nurse case managers. Amanda oversaw all medical case management for patients that were undergoing various spinal and extremity treatments including injections and surgeries. Amanda also lead the Patient Safety and Documentation Committees to ensure patient safety and proper clinical documentation, policies and protocols.
She graduated Cum Laude and with honors from Fordham University with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science, Middle Eastern Studies and an Arabic minor. Whilst there, she studied abroad in Egypt, China and Qatar. She obtained an Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, and received the Marie Picket Student Nurse Leadership Award for Outstanding Community Service.
